Shiramine is a village deep in the mountains of Hakusan City, with a unique culture and architectural style like nowhere else in Japan. Located at the base of the sacred Mt. Hakusan, Shiramine offers a spiritual destination surrounded by nature and full of warm and welcoming residents.

Each season offers its own unique flavour. In winter you can experience several meters of snow and a village full of snowmen. In Spring you can taste natural plants from nature and fish in clear streams: in Summer you can see alpine flowers blooming upon the mountains and join fun festivals; and in Autumn you can enjoy chestnuts and mushrooms, and view the rich colours of autumn leaves.
